Again you are relying on your interpretation of what the bible says. Now the bible is written by the Holy Spirit. Where is your scriptural conformation of that statement? As far as I have read, the Holy Spirit or "comforter" did not come down until Jesus had gone.

(2 Peter 1:20-21) For YOU know this first, that no prophecy of Scripture springs from any private interpretation. For prophecy was at no time brought by man’s will, but men spoke from God as they were borne along by holy spirit.

(Acts 1:16) “Men, brothers, it was necessary for the scripture to be fulfilled, which the holy spirit spoke beforehand by David’s mouth about Judas, who became a guide to those who arrested Jesus,

You were saying or should I say your "spirit" was saying?

Both quotes refer to speaking not to writing.

Why yes, I did say that but that only judges or denies the Holy Spirit if your "spirit" happens to be the Holy Spirit but since the "spirit" you have continually conflicts with what the Holy Spirit says through the Bible, I would say that is highly unlikely. ;)

I beg to differ, if you'll reread the hi-lighted parts you will see both quotes are talking about the Scriptures and Scriptures are writing. Once again your "spirit" misleads you. ;)

You asked the appropriate person because he knows, because the bible "says" so.

Well does it disagree with what the Holy Spirit says through the Bible? ;)

Actually, the Bible will tell her if she wants to listen because the word of God is alive and exerts power and is sharper than any two-edged sword and pierces even to the dividing of soul and spirit, and of joints and [their] marrow, and [is] able to discern thoughts and intentions of [the] heart. (Hebrews 4:12)

    Words which were then recorded.

[/QUOTE](Acts 1:16) which the holy spirit spoke[/B] beforehand by David’s mouth about Judas, who became a guide to those who arrested Jesus,

Well, that would depend on whether I see God as a trinity and believe the Holy SPirit is representative of all Godly representations, or whether God is singular and I see the Holy Spirit as a quality belonging to God alone.

So your "spirit" has told you that as soon as it's written down, although it is exactly what was "said", it is no longer the word of God? I think you need to talk with that "spirit" of yours a bit it seems a little confused.

(2 Timothy 3:16-17) All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness, that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work.

Don't blame it, blame those who take the Scriptures of context and twist them according to their own desires. ;)

That is not at all what I said, and why are you prescribing courses of action for me?

I benefit from reading the bible, this is true. The bible however is not gods only authority. God created all things. You need other things waterbrother, to be "fully competent."

The Old Testament was good enough as it was :)

I have read a lot of the NT but can't really grasp it. I'm afraid I'm stuck in my old ways.
