Because he had leaned to it for nourishment and it provided none. It is a christ teaching that those things that do not nourish us, we should lean to never more. Expunge them from your itinerary of places to look.

Confusion is not of the truth.

Who accuses a child of god but you?

That would make sense, but not when you lean on something to nourish you that was not able to help at that time.

The tree was not in season to nourish Him... not very rational.

That is the point, the things that do not nourish us are never in season.

    You may find this interesting;

When Jesus saw this fig tree it was Nisan 10 (March 28) of the year 33 C.E. In the case of fig trees in that region the buds for the first fruit crop of the season appear about February, on branches that grow the previous season, whereas leaves do not appear until the final part of April or in May. By the time the tree is in full leaf it should be bearing ripe fruit. Since the tree seen by Jesus was unusually early with its leaves, he could expect it to have unseasonably early fruit suitable for eating. The fact that the tree had no fruit indicated that it was unproductive. Its appearance was deceptive.

Then why do you contribute to the confusion?
Why do you not answer the question?

    Because He could.

A not so simple answer, if you think about it. At one time, God was going to destroy the offspring of Abraham (except for Moses) and begin afresh with Moses. He could have. Why didn't He?

You cause confusion with your distinction between, divine justice, and turning the other cheek. Divine justice is mercy. An eye for an eye is retribution for hardness of heart. You make the emphasis that retribution is divine and you poo poo the significance of turning the other cheek. You have put new wine in old skins and ruined the meaning of both.

As above, so below, and whatever is loosed on earth is also loosed in heaven.
I do not blaspheme, why don't you answer the question, who accuses a child of god besides you?

What has been discussed made me think of this verse:

    Gal 5:9
"A little yeast works through the whole batch of dough."

It's like the yeast that grows in tares.

Depends on what you mean by sins. I know this question is old, and I've stated the Catholic Case numerous times, but there are degrees of sin.

Hence the requirement of Sacramental Confession.

Only by repentance to the High Priest Christ, through his unbroken chain of apostles and priests. If we willfully sin, then realize our mistake, it is not simply enough to remember that we sinned, but to completely and totally repent.

Confusing? Really? Seems pretty easy to understand to me.
No, divine justice is justice and divine mercy is mercy.
I would be nice if some day you actually had some Scriptural backing for what you say.
There is no "poo pooing", you are the one saying that, not me.
    Really?
Once again you show you can quote the Scriptures but application is lacking.
In what way have I accused a child of God? I might have accused a son of the god of this system of things.

As for blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, saying that the Holy Spirit agrees with Satan's first lie, "you shall not die" would seem to pretty close.

I may ask you, if you had sinned, that is missed the sign of god, how could you expect your own sorting out to mean anything?

The idea of willfully sinning is really not possible. You may be deceived in what you see, but a deception is not the truth. Some of the most loathsome aspects, we believe, of our personalities, turn out to be our greatest teachers, our weaknesses our greatest strengths.

To the idea of degrees of sin, if you miss the mark by a little, you miss the mark by a lot as well, you miss the mark, entirely. Further we are told that all sin is equal in the respect that it can be forgiven save for one, blaspheme against the holy spirit, and this is because the holy spirit is our director to the mark, siding always with the spirit.

What I had found was that I was in a war with myself over causes I did not understand, with an enemy concocted entirely by my big head thinking I knew friend from foe. I suffered so much stress because i felt I had to assert myself toward rightness, that is I felt I was right and felt the challenge that my right needed to be defended against all comers including my own impulses. I matured in life and discovered I had not moved any step farther away from that battle ground no matter how fervent, (I thought at the time), I desired to be rid of it. I had run out of survival techniques that I could concoct on my own behalf, it was then that I discovered and was so greatly relieved to find I had been mistaken, about everything .

What I found was I was not in least bit far from the grace of god, but that I was looking to myself to provide it. We need do nothing but what is most natural to us, love.

    It is your private joke.
    Paraphrasing:
When asking about who's wife is she, jesus says you do not understand, moses allowed you to divorce for hardness of heart, but from the beginning this was not so. The laws that moses brought down were for the mitigation of hardness of heart. That hardness of heart is mineral hardness that comes from this event, 'I hear your brothers blood, crying from the ground. the ferrous content of that dried blood, why, as hard as iron. It was in that hard hearted moment when cain absolved himself of responsibility for his brother, that it became expedient to provide direction since he had abdicated his true function, i.e. we get, thou shall not kill. No reason to instruct you not to kill if you had not been hard hearted in the first place. They were rules that they could lean on to settle their disputes. You could now prosecute the murderer of your son let's say.
Mercy, divine justice, fulfills the whole law. Moses wanted relief from debauchery, the people needed leadership. At the time of jesus the cry for relief for mercy from suffering was the request of gods children.
You are right, I characterized the statement turning the other cheek is just, for if someone insults you to not hold it against them.
The teaching is, we are not to be afraid of those that can kill the body, in conjunction, if someone strikes you, turn the other cheek. It is talking about physical violence. The reason being, if you defend yourself have admitted weakness into your thinking and have been drawn into a war with an uncertain outcome. Guardedness, truce, is not peace, it is a state of war.
    Really?
You accuse every child of god if you accuse the least. I believe in only one god, recognize only one power, our heavenly father. If you accuse at all, you take on the one aspect that we can definitely recognize as satanic, the devil means slanderer. the answer to that question, who accuses a child of god but you, is no one! There is no one there to champion your cause of discrediting me except for your hardness of heart, god sure isn't throwing thunderbolts at me. I am fine with him, him with me.

Now, what is your hellish problem, perhaps we can unravel it together.

Again, satans lie, first, last, middle, end, was that they were unlike their father. They already had gods knowledge, he told them they didn't.

I am given to teach about repentance in this way.

Repentance is not a hand wringing act of contrition. In order to admit guilt, you must first judge yourself as guilty.

Repentance is a reorientation of the pentacle of the five senses, toward seeking only god and his kingdom.

You can't even get this right.
(Genesis 3:1-5) Now the serpent proved to be the most cautious of all the wild beasts of the field that Jehovah God had made. So it began to say to the woman: “Is it really so that God said YOU must not eat from every tree of the garden?” At this the woman said to the serpent: “Of the fruit of the trees of the garden we may eat. But as for [eating] of the fruit of the tree that is in the middle of the garden, God has said, ‘YOU must not eat from it, no, YOU must not touch it that YOU do not die.’” At this the serpent said to the woman:“YOU positively will not die. 5 For God knows that in the very day of YOUR eating from it YOUR eyes are bound to be opened and YOU are bound to be like God, KNOWING good and bad.”

Please notice that Satan's first lie is "YOU positively will not die" and that is the lie you keep saying the Holy Spirit agrees with.

Please notice while the form of the lie finally became you will not die, eve stated plainly that she knew gods truth, as I said, the lie that she believed was that she was unlike god, and that she would be, if she ate the fruit. She was abiding in gods truth because god gave it to her. She was decieved, not guilty. She could never be unlike her creator.

There is another translation of the verse you quoted about positively dieing and that is you will surely die, that i am more familiar with. You will surely die, surely as in inexorably die. The reason that the idea was had that they should not eat of the tree of life lest they should live forever, is to preserve that aspect of conditionality, that is conditions can change, but only if you are not permanently attached to conditions. They were not to live forever in their there current deceived state. It is why i told dejavu that the system of relativism is elegant in the fact that if we make mistakes in time, they do not harm our eternal condition, which is in the likeness and image of god.

Yes, she knew that she was unlike God in many ways. She knew that she was not God, she knew it was not within her power to create the universe like God did and she knew that it was not for her to decide what is right and wrong. None of which was a lie.

But all that aside, her believing that she was not like God was not Satan's first lie, Satan's first lie is still, "YOU positively will not die" but regardless of whether it was his first or his thousandth, it is still Satan's lie and you continue to say that the "Holy Spirit" teaches you it is true.
