Beliefs can contradict each other but do not have to. There are facts and then there are facts but the fact that there wicked spirit creatures roaming the earth is as real as and factual as the existence of God. Did I say it was a requirement? Did I say Jesus said it? But Acts 17:11 does commend Beroeans for doing so. Carefully examining the Scriptures daily is accomplished by using the terms in life, love God with all your might, turn the other cheek, give to those who ask? You really think so?
I am a child of God. Because it is true and I have offered proof: condemn 3. say somebody or something is bad: to state that somebody or something is in some way wrong or unacceptable I am not calling you a liar. I asked what your scriptural basis was, not your analysis.
So you say. It is false and you have not offered proof. Good, 'cause it sure seemed like it. Okay: (1 John 4:1) Beloved ones, do not believe every inspired expression, but test the inspired expressions to see whether they originate with God, because many false prophets have gone forth into the world.
Your last quote in this post suggests what exactly, that I am a false prophet? Really, why is that good, it causes you no distress whatsoever to call me false. How do you test waterbrother? I have a question, how come you seldom quote words attributed to Jesus? The vast majority of your quotes come from old testament prophets or post crucifixion material. I realize that this is not an objective analysis and I could have a false impression. So I will check myself and do a statistical analysis. I will use this thread as a data base.
Suggests, perhaps. Condemns, no. I have never called you false but mislead. The Bible is the yardstick, that what all expressions are tested against. I quote what ever applies to the subject at hand seeing as "All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness, that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work." (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
I do not contradict the bible, I contradict your interpretation of the bible. The bible takes no stands, it is a book.
How do you know what is in the mind of Satan? The only time that Jesus says to use judgment is in the face of appearances, do not judge by appearances, but rather use right judgment. Other than this, do not judge.
God knows what is in my heart brother, You claim not to know me at all. Here again, you call me false. I am led by the Holy spirit.
You do contradict the Bible, as I have pointed out every time you do. I simple statement from the Bible is not an interpretation of the Bible. For the word of God is alive and exerts power and is sharper than any two-edged sword and pierces even to the dividing of soul and spirit, and of joints and [their] marrow, and [is] able to discern thoughts and intentions of [the] heart. (Hebrews 4:12) Once again you disagree with the Bible.
