a freind of mine did it the way the budhist monks had...as a form of protest & to really shock people into taking notice of the issues, she doused herself with gasoline, & in the middle of the college campus lit herself on fire
so it wasnyt a direct attack on a government building or anything, but a more subtle attack on government policies as a whole

local yes, she was very well known, cause she was constantly dancing on the art musuaem steps (the ones from rocky) and on the u of p campus in wild costumes so the local more progressive papers did full page tributes
but like always the mass media tends to gloss over anything like protests no matter how extreme..if they even mention them at all
