    Hi, how are you doing today everyone? I hope you all are fine.
    Although, I didn't finish reading the bible yet, but the most verses which I liked it until now are these verses;

    Matthew4:6:
    [Devil is talking to Jesus]… ''Throw yourself down. for it is written:'' He will command his angels concerning you, and they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone'' 7: Jesus answered him, it is also written: Do not out the Lord your God to the test.

    Wow, I love it :)

    Matthew: 5:13:
    You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men.

    Matthew: 7: 3:
    Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay not attention to the plank in your own eye?
    Quraan: 2:44:
    Enjoin you Al-Birr (piety and righteousness and each and every act of obedience Allah) on the people and you forget (to practice it) yourselves

    Matthew: 9: 36:
    When he saw the crowds he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless like sheep without a shepherd. 37: then he said to his disciples" the harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. 38: Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.
    I am asking you that Lord; Amen.
    :)

    Matthew: 10: 28:
    Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul.
    Quraan: 9:32:
    They want to extinguish Allah's Light with their mouths, but Allah will not allow except that his light should be perfected even though the Kafirun (disbelievers) hate (it).

    There are others too, how about you, share yours

    I love you Jesus
    Yours Sincerely,
    Cat Stevens

    My favourite verses:

    Hebrews 13:6
    6 So we may boldly say:

    "The LORD is my helper ;
    I will not fear.
    What can man do to me?"
    NKJV

    Matthew 17:20-21

    20 So Jesus said to them, "Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.
    NKJV

    Luke 17:6

    6 So the Lord said, "If you have faith as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, 'Be pulled up by the roots and be planted in the sea,' and it would obey you.
    NKJV

    Those are my favs, and I just found a new one that I liked:

    Psalms 35:4-7

    4 Let those be put to shame and brought to dishonor
    Who seek after my life;
    Let those be turned back and brought to confusion
    Who plot my hurt.
    5 Let them be like chaff before the wind,
    And let the Angel of the LORD chase them.
    NKJV

    Don't you just love OT? :p

    The verses you posted are cool too (all are). Never really thought about them before tho'. Thanks for sharing. :)

    NKJV means New King James Version. It's a type of Bible 'translation'.

    welcome.

    it used to really irritate me when people would try to tell me that the song of songs was supposed to only represent christ's love for the church. okay, fine, if it's just an allegory for christ's love, then he's one horny beast. man, that was annoying. take one of the most beautiful sexual texts ever written, then nueter it. because sex is bad! WTF?
