Which, in your opinion, is the best Star Trek film? Out of any of them! The Original Series films or The Next Generation films or the "Kelvin Timeline" films (with Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto)? I grew up with the classic films like Star Trek The Motion Picture and Star Trek 2 The Wrath Of Khan. Which is your favorite? Which do you hate? Why? Thoughts?

They were all good. I like them better than Star Wars, of which I only enjoyed the first two.
    (Haven't seen the latest ones.)

I like the newer ones. Those were fun! I didn't like "Wrath of Khan" at all. :weary: I know... sacrilege.

First Contact. Great score, deep undertones, decent jokes, & Patrick fuckin' Stewart

It used to be First contact for me too. But I like the one simply called Star Trek just as much (first new one with Kirk)

Was just wondering why it wasn't showing up on anyone's list. It's pretty much the perfect trek film.

I liked the humour ("How long Spock? (who did a little too much L.D.S. in his college days) .... One damn minute Admiral",) along with the environmental message (with the Bird of Prey's appearance 'saving the day') of IV
    - Though still intrigued with the idea that Kirk (or rather Decker and Ilea) had a hand in creating the Borg in 1 - (despite the denials)

Love that two part episode 'The Chain of Command' when Capt. Picard is captured and interrogated by the Cardassian.

Btw: is there anyone around who’s as easy to hate than Ronny Cox who played Captain Edward Jellico,

Has his image has changed 180 degrees since playing George Apple in Apples Way

Its the same for me with the Voyage Home, many love it, I cant because I know whats coming.

Sling shot around the sun to travel back in time ( save Lois from the earthquake while you are at it) so you can find a blue whale to speak to the giant turd looking spaceship so advanced it cant translate english. Yeah we get it, whales are so much more important than humans, go hug a tree afterwards

    Gahhh

Star Trek II: The Wrath Of Khan was by far the best. The franchise should have ended there but unfortunately it was followed by Star Trek III: The Search For Money.
