    MITCH HEDBERG IS THE MAN!

dane cook is good too...plus pretty much all of the lesbian comedians you see on comedy central. Ron White is a favorite too, even though I can't stand to watch that blue collar comedy thing until he's on. the other guys on that show just annoy me.

Hedburg isnt a very good comic....hes dull, kinda goofy, and i suspect he gets most of his jokes from other people.

Pablo francisco is hilarious, as are some other favourites:
    Billy Connolly
    Jon Stewart
    Ross Noble
    Alan Davies, etc
But THE best standup performer I have ever seen is Ed Byrne (who once lived with ross noble)

Mitch Hedburg, also Brian Regan, never laughed so hard at a stand up comic before.

Ah Carl Baron i totally agree. He is such a little thing but his appearances on the footy show are hilarious. I have the dvd where he's on the cover with a red t-shirt on. It's the funniest stuff :D

Bill Hicks made me laugh like no other, he made me piss myself as well as open my mind a bit to the cause, more of a funny preacher than a stand up. Mark Thomas should be mentioned as well, a comedy preacher activist, marvellous!

has anyone here ever seen Ed Byrne? I've seen him a bunch of times and he's my favourite comic, but it seems like no one knows him

I have so many favs, but Nick Swardson's my favorite at the moment.

I also like Daniel Tosh and Pablo Francisco, they're both pretty funny!
