I just found this band while browsing through myspace. They are very new but very good. Give them a Listen, see if you like it. www.myspace.com/yourmajestypa

    Orange Juice
    The Legends
    Sons and Daughters
    The National
    Knife in the Water

I don't know if others have heard of these bands, but around my neck of the woods I am the only one who knows about them.

I think buchenwald oven was mentioned because no one has ever heard of them(by no one i mean very few)...but they are scum(just like Wehrhammer and Kristallnacht)

Anyway: Toxic Narcotic, Mouth Sewn Shut, the Foilies, Bomb the Music Industry, Acid Lullaby, Paganizer(im not even sure if these guys are a band anymore)...

Weird. I must be insane, because I've heard of/listened to a lot of the bands listed here.

Alright, here's a list of my new obscure finds:

Icy Demons [Cool indie/pop/prog type material]
Pit Er Pat [Some more cool indie/pop]
Infected Malignity [an awesome Japanese brutal death metal/goregrind band]
What's He Building In There? [awesome prog rock/metal band from boston]
The Fax Arcana [Cool fuzzy post-emo type stuff]
Need New Body [very, very, very weird noise rock band]
    Elixirs [Awesome one-man drone folk]
    Autonym [amazingly humorous screamo band]
Ponytail [Awesome noise-rock with an annoying chick vocalist]
The Velvet Teen [cool synthy indie/pop/emo that rocks hard]
Sometree [some more cool post-emo, fuzzy stuff]

so yeah... i put a little description there just in case something sounds cool to someone. truly awesome stuff.

Either I'm really in the no or you are all out. Only ones I hadn't heard of were Buchenwald and Mannequins Breathe. I actually laughed when someone posted the Brazillian Girls.

Best virtually unhread of band? StNNNG. Check these guys out if you like loud obnoxious expirimental. Also been listenning to JG Everest, this solo artist I know. He's pretty good, you peoples should check him out.

Ha, am I pleased you mention Witch here! That's a fantastic album indeed :D I like all songs on it, but the opening track Seer blows my mind everytime I hear it! Soul of fire and Black saint are great too :)

I don't know if i'd call them new or unheard of but Calexico is AMAZING. I saw em at Bonnaroo 04 at one of the tents and was blown away. I live in a pretty musically ignorant town so it's tough to tell who's actually "heard of".

Hehe wow, even a little psychedelic :). But horrible in comparison to the song, however that could also be because I'm not particular fond of musicvideo's.

Belong. Amazing music, similar to Fennesz, only a little different. Really beautiful drone/shoegaze type stuff.

Homesick for Space is another, great indie type stuff.
