best kind of dog is....

I like my dogs dumb. Gimme a basset hound anyday.

 

I voted for pits because I LOVE THEM TO DEATH! I feel bad that they have such a bad rep right now. I've never met a pit who wasn't a complete and total sweetheart. However, I am in college and I live in a college neighborhood, and I see many pits that go neglected or aren't trained at all and those pits may have the potential to be dangerous.

I love every dog breed I've ever had -- cocker spaniel, bishon-frise, and my black lab/aussie shepard mix. But I think the absolute cutest dogs are the mutts, hands down!

This is kinda a subquestion: What type of dog is Toto in the Wizard of Oz? I always thought he was cute stuff!

I have a shih tzu, and I'd have to say that breed is my absolute favorite (my dog is my baby!), but I voted chihuaha. I really like little dogs, but all dogs are pretty wonderful...

 

German Shepards

 

labradors.....had one my entire life, since i was a little kid, they're awesome, loyal, friendly dogs....the only thing is that they get lik 80lbs by the time they're 3 and they still think they're a puppy...lmao

 

Pitties without a doubt! they are strong.. loyal.. protective... extremely smart and gentile.. yes gentile... blame the owners not the breed when it comes to their bad side

ugh. dachsunds are horrible. i have one and i swear to god she's the devil incarnate.

 

Doberman, but i think mutts are better. I have a German Shepard Doberman mix and she is just too funny. Very Very obedient, but very fun and happy.

we have a boxer who is 10 and the best dog ive ever had. and a golden retriever/ yellow lab mix shes still a puppy at 1 yr. both are unbelievablw with our kids..

Mutts definitely. It really doesn't matter to me as long as I get him from an animal shelter or they're out on the street without an owner. I can't imagine buying from a breeder..

 

i like poodles.

 

I chose Border Collie because i grew up on a farm with one and they were my favourite,(very smart and hard working) until i got a newfoundland and he is the best dog i have ever had!!

 

Airedale. Any other Airedale fans out there?

 

I love those, they look like bears... I have a Leonberger and I'm very happy with my choice...
