Best First Vibrator As A Gift?

Okay, maybe not the best place to ask but I'll give it a try.

So my girlfriend (of over a year) has never owned or used a vibrator and I've been looking into getting her one as a surprise gift.

I know very little on the subject and was looking if anyone had suggestions:
Preferably of smaller size and if possible quieter being she's still in her parents house.

If that made no sense, my apologies ahead of time. Kinda one if the reasons i'm asking.

I've met very very few women who don't enjoy toys. If haven't in the past. Either when using them alone or with a lover.

My wife and I use em occasionally. My first wife was actually a sex therapist and told me about the most women use toys thing. At least, again, those born after 1970 or thereabout.

Never heard of one getting scared either. Why would they get scared. LOL. Unless maybe they were raised Amish or some other very oppressed environment?
