Best bands? you deside

Led Zeppelin and the Doors? Are you kidding me? Argh.

 

Too cliche... they don't have a lot of power. I think Jimmy Page is kinda so-so.

 

Agreed. Also, the Doors were too wishy washy for me to consider them one of the best.

 

Yeah... the two have a few songs that are good... but I couldn't say they're the best. I really never got why people are so obsessed with those bands... I guess they all have their followers.

 

does hendrix count as a band because he was an great guitarist one of the best in fact but alas he is dead now.......a moment of silence please and the who are great also same with floyed and led zep and ill agree the doors are so so

WHo the hell are these blind melon people and where can i hear anything by them?

 

lol... they're a lot like Neil Young crossed with CCR, in my opinion. I download their stuff... I'm sure you can buy it somewhere. if you have a messenger service or IM, I can send their stuff to you. I've recorded a couple covers of their songs on the first try. I just do acoustic versions... electric versions are too long and complicated to edit if I record them on here to my computer.

 

Watch it.

 

They're ok... but I think there's way better music out there.

 

Oh and George, your opinion is disqualified after you mentioned Journey.

I used to like Journey (yes I'm ashamed of myself ), they do not even come close as best band. Steve Perry, lead-singer... heehee... I swear he's a woman. Their songs were so cheesy.

Although I did sing "Open Arms" to Xenia at 1 AM while she held up her lighter... Oooh, bad memories.

 

Actually... I'd have to say I don't like them a whole lot... I just like their sound. I don't care for the songs. Rush is damn good, though.

 

THE DOORS!!! Because I love them! I love their music and I love Jim Morrison's poetry! Everything about them is beautiful...
