The absolutely most annoying movie character is Forest Gump.

 

Ben Affleck from Dazed and Confused is pretty bad, but he doesn't make me want to jump in my T.V and punch him. I actually really don't like Jack Nicholson (I don't know how to spell) in the movie As Good As it Gets. He's so mean to the gay guy.

 

That's exactly who came to mind when I read the title. Seconded.

 

I don't know if anybody remembers (or has seen) this movie "Flowers In The Attic?" Well if you have, the one character (besides the mom) that really pisses me off is the grandmother...man i would of liked to stab that bible toting bitch...

 

Randal from clerks, hes bascially more of a dick than an asshole in that movie tho, and fuck clerks 2 btw.
and id have to agree with o'bannion being the best asshole, or even when he played the guy from the fashionable male in mallrats.
I bet ben affleck is a dick in person to. you cant play an asshole that well without having some asshole in you yourself.

I tend to like the asshole characters more, they're funnier and usually more developed than the protaganist (see red dwarf).
and i think y'all are being a little too hard on the dude from saving private ryan, people tend to break down under pressure... it's just sad.

but i'd punch ben affleck in real life, same with cyndi from the brady bunch.

i do actually like the characters like that yknow! lol they are funny and good to watch lol got to love kathleen turner in serial mom and in war of the roses!

 

also more of an arsehole type is kevin bacon in a film i cant remember the name of where he is like the pervy warder with some boys in like a young offenders place, oooh they get him back

 

Totally agree. Especially when he beats the brains out of that villager with the shotgun.

 

Mystic River with sean penn...great movie. Kevin Bacon is also an ass in Wild Things...plays a dirty cop there, too.

 

I would have to say Robert DeNiro's character in "This Boy's Life". Can't remember his character's name, but man! I wanted to kick him in the teeth!
