Best actor ever

I made a list of actors I think are the best. This is my what I would choose so its a biased poll. I don't know what everyone likes or doesn't like.

 

Who the fuck else voted Adam Sandler.

Of course he's the best.

I mean, Orson Welles was great. But everyone knows Adam Sandler would have made a better Charles Foster Kane.

As far as your list goes, i'm partial to Robin Williams

And Bill Murray, but not for his acting skills - he basically just always plays himself doesnt he. But he seems like a really cool person, there's a documentary on netflix about how cool he is. One day i'm going to bump into him and we're going to be friends

 

I picked Adam Sandler initially but he did play a supporting role to Rob Schneider a few times so I might have to reconsider...


I'd go with Jack Nicholson from that list and I don't think it's even all that close. I feel like most of his characters make the movies he's in...

• Nicholson carries One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest
• Provides some of the most memorable lines of Easy Rider
• Creates the best character from a Stephen King adaptation and one of the best horror movie characters ever in The Shining
• While overshadowed by Ledger's Joker in The Dark Knight, Nicholson still provided a good template for The Joker and Comic Book movie Villains in general in Batman
• Was great in The Departed
• Provides one of the most famous lines from a movie I haven't even seen in "You can't handle the Truth!"

 

I forgot Russell Crowe and Anthony Hopkins. Hollywood has been hard on male actors lately. I don't get it.

 

I picked Nicholson - only because of Batman. Even though I LOVED Mark Hamill as the Joker in the Animated Series, Nicholson made that role so memorable.

 

I'm a big Nicholson fan--although he always sort of plays the same slightly deranged character.
