Hillary won the popular vote. Bernie seems to be doing better than she did in the swing states. While it's possible Trump will be re-elected, that doesn't seem self-evident. A lot will probably depend on Trump's handling of the virus and the economic crisis. Public opinion seems to have turned against him. Time will tell. But if he is re-elected we all lose. The United States would never be the same, and our democracy would be badly damaged. Trump isn't up to the job of the crises ahead. Cheer leading won't change the outcome.

Most of the time, they're valid. But are simply snapshots in time.

Rasmussen? You're showing your ignorance again.

  9. I stopped watching the news, and pretty much all TV, for the last 2 years or so. The last I had heard about the election was that there were too many candidates, a lot of them women, and now we are just left with Biden? WTF!!!

:) I would like to formally announce my candidacy! Please vote for me, thank you :)

To a great number of Americans, this statement is true...*if* we're talking about Bernie, Biden, or Hillary being elected.

With Bernie, I doubt there would have been that much change unless he could take control of Congress, which would have been unlikely. (I doubt he could even be elected). Even then, the sweeping reforms he was talking about would never fly. Hillary would have been much like Bill and Obama--pretty much status quo, which has its good and bad features. Even my MAGA friends have said Biden seems "harmless". Harmless isn't that bad, considering the alternative. He can work with Republicans and get us away from the hellacious partisanship that's plagued our country for the past couple of decades. Make America Normal Again!

Are you still afraid of Hillary? That she'll send her assassins out to get you when you least expect it? On the one hand, she's supposed to be a drooling basket case, on her last legs. On the other , the diabolical., omnipresent mastermind of Murder Incorporated, not to mention that pedophile ring in the Pizza parlor. You guys need to lay off the conspiracy sites.

    2 party system

We see how his ideas clash with them. The stock market is up in a pandemic where no one is working because he is out of the race. So the status quo of business will remain. Healthcare is a business and things like insulin can skyrocket because supply and demand and no one OWES you healthcare.

Because they are on your side. I don't know why you think they are your enemy. They don't want to run someone people like because like means European policies that don't favor the 1%. Just like 2016 Trump will likely loose the popular vote yet the people will blame those like me who actually had opinions. If only we would compromise on everything maybe next time things will change. I've heard that my whole life. Not one Democrat even Obama was liked in the way Republicans are. People liked Bush for example not John Kerry. Obama had some pretty right wing views and Biden is a hardcore Republican who even supported segregation.

People like them are picked so Republican and businessmen like them and all others are told their views are too extreme to be elected. No matter the polls that show otherwise.

Republicans would do the same to you. They are just the party with voters who actuly like the corruption and screwing over so their lies are your truth.

Sanders is supporting Biden. So is Obama. Sanders stressed the importance of beating Trump, the “most dangerous president in the modern history of this country”. Obama thinks Joe "has all the qualities we need in a president right now." So what to do. Hold out another term for socialism, when Bernie turns 82. Or concentrate on the task at hand.

Yep...and Obama arrived at that exact conclusion...at the moment in time that Biden became the *only* Dem. candidate. So, basically...Obama is saying that Joe is the best candidate...still on the ticket. High praise, indeed!

I posted this over on another thread...but I think it's interesting enough to post again, here. If you can maintain an open attitude...I believe it's worth a watch.
