I've never heard of it being a combined effort. Unless you mean when politicians pass reforms or laws when they're given no choice; to quell resistance. But from my studies it's always the people who push the positive transformations of societies.

I said "at best irrelevant", meaning towards positive change. I did not mean it to start an anarchist debate.

 

I'm afraid I have to agree to disagree either way.

 

William Jennings Bryan , Adlai Stevenson and Hubert H Humphrey were the most eloquent and gifted speakers ever nominated by the Democrat Party so with that being said what do all three
have in common ?

 

Besides them all being dead?

 

Even if does not win he has pushed the party in his direction. In 2016 they laughed at him. Hillary had several zingers about him. Now pretty much any Democrat running has copied his policy. Long term I knew this would happen. They were so popular the party has no choice but to go with it. Same thing as Trump at first the guy is a nut now he is the standard.
