gypsy love (comprised of my dad, his girlfriend and i) performed yesterday at this market thing. don't ask about the name of our group, i hate it personally but what can ya do. anyway here are some pictures, it was tons o fun and we made lots of money. yaaay...

AHAHAHA! I used to belly dance when I was alot younger! I can still move pretty damn well.....but.... I don't actually "belly dance" anymore....Those pics are super hot, by the way! Do you like to dance? I'm guessing you must....well, keep up the good money making and have a great time doing it. Loves.

actually crunches are a no-no with bellydancing, you need that extra layer of jiggle to move properly, having rock hard abs restricts your flexibility and is rather unimpressive to watch. so in conclusion, i weight 105lbs, fuck off.

 

one of the ladies i dance with is moroccan, and she showed us some berber (can't spell it) dancing, which is really interesting. we're learning it for folkfest.. i've never seen traditional moroccan bellydancing though, i imainge it's pretty insane judging by the other forms of their dance i've seen.

i think it's absolutely beautiful that you're doing this with your family. i know your dad is so so so happy there with his drums =). imagine being your dad =). having a beautiful daughter who's not a product of this nasty way of life that's becoming so popular, a daughter who is dancing to his drumming with a smile on her beautiful face. i think it's amazing, and touching. i feel these kind of things, and i know you're making him so so happy.

thanks to the nice people. i guess daymuse doesn't know about my body image issues, but most don't. i try to use bellydancing as a way to control my negative thoughts, though sometimes it backfires indeed.
