thats a bummer Stacy. check out craigslist to see if people are hiring for any odd jobs out in your area. I found a part time job that lasted over a year, and a friend found a gig doing chores for some handicapped guy.

you could also raid your mums jewelery and pawn it all to make some fast cash.
