Well, we allowed it to happen; we went to the polls to vote and elected a fascist dictator back into the office. Like my mother used to say, "You make your bed hard, you sleep in it."

Still CANNOT fathom HOW we got him in office AGAIN, especially when he SHOULD be behind bars......our founding fathers are now spinning in their graves, at speeds heretofore unimaginable.........

 

Yep, still wondering how and why he was allowed to continue his campaign while having his sentencings vacated and with the understanding that if I had been found guilty of such felony charges, I would have been buried in prison in a heartbeat and with little or no civil rights because I'm a convicted felon.

He gets to be POTUS again and you'd think that we suffered enough under him before - and ending with the 06 January debacle that he organized and fomented and not only has he not been made to answer for this act of treason and violation of his oath to protect and defend the Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic... he's back in office so he can finish fucking America in the ass. And we still haven't made any overt moves to remove him from the office and it gets clearer every day that we need to remove him.

In the meantime, I need to put together a list of guys I want to suck off if my upcoming blood tests shows that my immune system is back to normal...

Congress and SCOTUS needs to act to stop him from acting as if the law doesn't apply to him; SCOTUS needs to repeal that bullshit they did to give him immunity from prosecution for anything he might do in and out of the office which, in actually, places him above the law and right where he wants to be.

The title of this thread is, "Being Bisexual or Gay in Today's MAGA Society" and I suggest that this is not a MAGA society; this is the same society I was born into and way before MAGA came to be and as Ron White said, "You can't fix stupid..." and the MAGA cultists can't seem to figure out why everyone else thinks they're stupid... which is self-explanatory all by itself. Now, as a lifelong bisexual men, should I worry about MAGA since, um, duh, they h,ave no real idea how to make America great because it used to be... before a bunch of pre-MAGAs decided that the world as we know it should reflect their misguided values and it all led up to a convicted felon running the country and who is MAGA cultists' "god."

I remember that asshole McCarthy, too, and as far as sexuality went, the crazy shit he authored didn't do a thing to sexuality because, um, duh, in 2025, not everyone is heterosexual but that's nothing new. Politics and sexuality are not good bedfellows; politicians have been trying to fuck with sexuality issues for the longest time, and, at every turn, they have utterly failed, and my last sentence is the proof and the truth and, by the way, so is this forum. Should I, a bisexual man, be worried about MAGAs and their false god? Nope. I've written to my Congresspeople and voiced my great disappointment and displeasure with this administration and the utter disregard for our laws and procedures, and I can't do any more than that. I'm 69 years old. I've got a little bit of life left to live and that's what I plan on doing and it doesn't include worrying about racists, bigots, and homophobes.

After reading your opening comment, I find myself totally agreeing with you; technically, this is NOT a "MAGA" society....it is the SAME society as prior to January, 2025.

What HAS changed is that our "leader" (and I use thos term VERY loosely) is most defintley NOT a champion for gay rights/marriage.

Even though both Obama and Biden WERE, of course, pro-gay rights, it is a TOTALLY different scenario today, with that lowlife orange-headed "DICK-tator" at the helm.

That Trump is also racist only further proves just how many serious issues he has; the ONLY Americans he cares about are the thousands upon thousands of mindless, brainwashed homophobes, who believe that thier "god" is above the law, can do no wrong, and was sent by the Almighty, himself.

I STILL think of those bigots who were APPALLED that we had a BLACK man in the White House, when Obama was first elected; to those dipsticks, I'd say:

I'm not saying he will or it's even likely. But it's possible. He got the ball rolling with foreign nationals. All it takes is enough high profile far right wing religious wackos to scream "The gays diddle the children!" and off they go to El Salvador no questions asked. The Supreme Court will unanimously disapprove but do nothing because Congress will let that slide.

 

I'm not even talking about last year; I'm talking about this is the same society I grew up in where there are racists, bigots, and homophobes all over the damned place. I have not lived in a neighborhood where there wasn't one of these cretins raising hell and talking about go back where you came from and I told one such cretin, "I was born here, at the hospital about 15 blocks that way so I'm already where I came from, you stupid motherfucker..." I lived through the race riots of the late 1960s so, nah, today's MAGAs don't move me all that much and like I said, I got plans for what little time I have left on the planet...
