being a girl

hi, im looking for advise on what its like being a girl, ive been taking hormones now for 6 months and have started getting boobs, i dress in girls cloths all the time and even go out in them, im starting to save as i do want to be a girl, any help please

 

Being a 'girl' or woman, as most of us like to be called, goes way beyond all the physical stuff that you have mentioned.

My biggest suggestion is to read books/blogs on women, women's issues and feminism.

You can get lots of different perspectives elsewhere in addition to here on hf. Just wait a while and you will get more responses here though.

I don't know what you are going through or how you feel. I can only imagine.

I used to work with a girl that used to be (physically) a male. We talked a lot about her transition, but I never asked if she had regrets nor did I ask about what it was like to be a female.

Still, try to make the move to somewhere more cosmopolitan, thats probably the most important thing

Laura's Playground is a really good trans website. I used the forums there for most of my transition. They cover all areas of transition and have a lot of educational stuff and some chat rooms. And they offer much love.
