I don’t envy people making minimum wage, It must be tough, but we’re talking about a guy who lost his arm in Iraq or Afghanistan, and yet his disability compensation still isn’t enough to survive on

 

i think i missed the initial post about this guy, and i'm not sure where to search for it, but in general i think it depends on where you live. in most places in the US, $2000 a month is plenty to survive on. it's not enough to sit back and enjoy a comfortable life of luxury, but it's enough to survive. if you already have a full time salary pay for your injury, it shouldn't be too hard to find enough supplemental income to live better than most people.
