One of the worst beers I ever bought was this stuff called 'Wild Blue'. It was marketed as a "blueberry ale," and it initially had the deceiving appearance (from the packaging) of a craft brew, yet later turned out to be something made by Anheuser-Busch. I was expecting something with a mild blueberry flavor, but when I poured this stuff it looked and smelled more like koolaid instead of beer, and had a sickeningly sweet flavor. I had to pour the entire six-pack down the drain, because there was no way I could drink it. That was, by far, the worst beer I ever spent money on.

Of course there was also the low-point in my life when I was broke and drinking Steel Reserve almost every night. This lasted for about a month or two. I still don't know what kind of lasting damage I might have done to my body during this time.

i noticed right away that something was off when they said it came from wooden casks. either they were flat out lying to the Chinese people or it is a different pbr. as for the $44. price for a beer i have paid that for 2 different beers although shipping across the atlantic is going to cost you a pretty penny and it did.

i have had the blueberry beer, dont remember what it tasted like but although i never felt the need to get it again i dont remember it being bad enough to pour.

off the top of my head i think mine was a black ipa. it had either a lion or an eagle on the label. (i purchased two dark beers that day and i dont remember which was the good one and which was the bad one) anyway it tasted like someone took a perfectly good....or at least a perfectly average black lager and poured a bad....really bad ipa into it.

    That looks delicious.

My mom brought me some hemp beer back from Germany once. But it was a lager :puke:

Why do you pour with so much head?

I pour the way you're supposed to. It's just that I snap the picture within seconds of pouring.

I've had to go easy on the 9% on up IPAs. I wake up feeling like shit. Dang, they're potent.

I did that to myself last weekend. It's like a red wine hangover if you go too crazy.

That is a good one, and by far the best beer from Flying Dog I've had.
