a while back i had a dream that i was sitting nude at a table on the ground with a nude gypsy/indian/middle eastern woman at a paper, and we were painting on the same piece of paper, both holding the same paint brush. well last night i dreamt of her again; i vaguely remember being in a body of water up to my knees, perhaps the beach, at sunset (a common setting in my dreams), clutching this same beautiful woman in my arms. she was nude, sopping wet, and i remember feeling very protective of her.
i'm pretty secure in my looks, thanks..... someone mentioned she possibly represents a suppressed side of me?
I have heard the odd person say they dreamt of someone a few times and later met that person which turned into a love relationship or a great friendship. Kind of like a human connection they shared till they met, maybe because paths were about to cross some day. I have only ever had one premonition dream in my life. It was about a lady who had the same first name as I do. I already knew her but only slightly. Funny thing is I saw her break up with her man in my dream as if it was me and my man but it was them, later they broke up. Even tho I felt concerned but forgot about it after a while I had a real connection to her after she died. She froze to death in a farmers field in Saskatchewan after her car broke down on the highway and when I heard about it I took it really bad, even tho we were never really friends. We played in a curling tournament together over a long weekend in Regina. When someone dies. I feel bad hearing about it but for some reason this death hit me hard and I still have no idea why. I know it wasn't because we had the same first name, my name is very common so lots have it.
Could be then that you have met her and are now seeing her in your head. Kinda cool. You will have to watch people you know and see if they fit the picture you see. Might be something there you didn't realize.
Maybe she does represent a part of you. Water represents emotions. Is there something holding you back from being free and traveling?
So a dream couldn't dig deep into someone you know but don't really know all that well? Why couldn't your mind know more then you realize and bring it up when you are not thinking of anything else, like when you are sleeping? Ever see anyone do something you didn't expect but someone else says "I thought there was something wrong with that person"? It's possible their mind saw something yours didn't for another example of what the mind can and can't do for each of us. I believe if we paid attention to signals our minds send us we'd know more then we do about lots of things or people. Some people even say they thought something good or bad was going to happen before it did. Some have a bad feeling before someone they know dies. Some say twins can connect from brain to brain even at distances from each other, I can't really agree because I have never had connections this way with my twin sister but maybe we never connected in the beginning like some others have or we don't have the spiritual ability some twins have. It's heard often when someone commits suicide "I shoulda known, I shoulda saw the signals and done something" Because often we don't see the obvious right in front of us but looking back the brain knows it saw something and brings it to us then, a little too late. In Thepoets's situation, maybe she knows someone but can't see into her and wants to see into her but hasn't realized it. And then again it could very well be herself she is seeing, so this isn't an argument but a question of what is it her mind wants to know.
any resemblence to anyone in this same universe we live in when awake, is mostly your sleeping mind makes up composities that isn't really them, or dreams take place in a seperate parallel universe. not saying it can't happen. just the odds. sometimes dreams can be analogs of things in this life. its just not something consistant that can be counted on. i've met very beautiful non-humans in some dreams, with very non-human anatomy. strange is beautiful as or even more, often then not.
