Howdy from Texas, I live and work in one of the prime energy areas in the USA. People dis Beaumont but it’s a nice small city; good selection of restaurants and shopping; nice selection of housing (if you can afford it in these days and time). Folks are friendly and the dogs don’t bite…. Most of the time anyway. I tell people that sneer at living here that if you can’t find what you’re looking for here then Houston is only an hour away; and if you can’t find it in Houston then you just don’t need it.
