Would you rather have a big beautiful house on the beach or a small one room cabin at a small lake? Hmmmm
In 1966 my bride and I were lucky enough to spend 2 September honeymoon weeks in a small cabin on the Namekagon River at Seeley, WI. Isolated and accessible by a small bridge that was the driveway. Oh my....both the location and the love! Has to live in our memories tho since I checked Google earth and both the cabin and bridge are long gone.
A nice house on the beach dosent have to be big. With a mountain view in the back ground. Somewhere like St Lucia would be nice.
That is the option that we have resorted to. Jane is not too happy when the back door is open during the summer and she finds a few frogs hopping around the kitchen.
A farm style house near the sea in a remote location would be ideal, but may present a few problems in winter when the well froze. The cabin would be an ideal place to work, but would present a few problems for 5 of us, particularly when our daughter wanted to stay the night with her 2 month old twins. I wonder whether they would sleep better if I put them in a Moses basket and left them floating between the rushes on the edge of the lake. This is our seaside location when we are in Ireland. Problem is that being on the Atlantic coast, it rains 364 days of the year.
The house on the beach would be great, Mrs.Toe grew up on a lake and evidently has a thing for water, each time I buy her the house she wants it’s on the water, maybe a beach house would stop her from looking at new houses.....probably not...
the forest is my home, and houses aren't for impressing people, but protecting yourself and things you find useful, from being damaged by exposure to the elements. (and beaches smell like dead fish and make everything rust twice as fast. odd shaped things show up on them sometimes though, and boats are a form of transportation)
A cabin on an isolated beach or a cabin in the woods either one would be great. Both would be nice to walk around naked and fuck anywhere you want.
