This duo from Baltimore's new album (their fifth album since their 2006 debut) set to be released at the end of August has already been leaked online, and it is fucking AWESOME! It just may be my favorite Beach House album yet. It is by far their dreamiest, most shoegazey album to date, with subtle shades of Slowdive and My Bloody Valentine. But when you hear the songs you immediately know it's Beach House, who are by far one of the greatest, most consistent bands making music at the moment. On the new album are some of the most beautiful melodies, wrapped in a warm, dreamy haze, with Victoria Legrand's smoky vocals buried deeper in the mix than on their previous albums. The only track off the new album that is available on YouTube is the first single off of it. To me it's not even one of the best tracks on the new album, but it's still fucking awesome.
