Yeah, dude seems to be strolling around like it's just another day. Reminds me of the naked cowboy in New York. Possibly the west coast version?
i wish i lived near a beach. not in ireland tho, cause beaches here tend to suck but somewhere nice, with white sand and blue water:love::sunny: instead of litter and stones everywhere!
I guess not all beaches attract the weirdos. That can be very nice, but also it's great to have the weirdos, too. They make for great stories.
The last time I went to the beach, my feet got really burnt. No one ever thinks to put sunscreen on your feet, and it just had to happen. It was painful.
Im about 4 hours from the beach. Last year saw a guy get chased down and arrested. Taking my girls this weekend. Hope to see something weird.
I'm around 3 miles from the coast, as the seagull flies. Its a North Sea coast, though, so not very conducive to sunbathing about 90% of the year...but that suits me. There's a webcam link to one of my local beaches here: http://www.hipforums.com/newforums/showthread.php?t=385284&f=606 .
I can't wait until it really starts to warm up. But then again, that means more people out at the beach.
It’s wonderful living on the coast but occasionally it does have its downside http://www.wmur.com/r-video/28087027/detail.html Hotwater
I live on the beach and see weird shit all the time. Last weekend I saw a 17 year old banger from downtown pop a couple off at a bouncer and a cop.
I lived in Virginia Beach for about 15 years and it never felt right. I hardley ever went to the beach. After hitting the beaches in Florida I'm ready to move there and be a beach bum.
Here in new england we’ve had several mass beaching of whales over the years. No one is certain why but low frequency sound waves used to detect submarines off the coast might possibly be linked to the mass-stranding of whales. Hotwater
That skating dude seems to be more of a legend than I thought: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LqXhhyWLJt0"]YouTube - UR News Investigation: NudeDude Pt. 1‏
The weirdest thing I saw at the beach was no public beach. It was all occupied by houses, and they were all fenced off.
I live on a pretty small island, with a bunch of beaches. I am within walking distance of two very nice ones, but can easily drive in less than 5 minutes to a bunch of others. Probably the weirdest thing I've ever seen on a beach was my buddy trying to take off in a homemade flying machine. This guy is quite wealthy, and batshit insane. The flying machine was basically built from a lawnmower (or motorbike, I forget) engine and bamboo, and he made 4 or 5 attempts at getting it airborne, every time failing hilariously. I've also seen a local chasing off tourists from "his" beach, usually either by throwing rocks at them or by getting his shotgun out. I don't particularly enjoy going to the beach though. I'm spoiled after working/living in a postcard for too long.
