I love your eyes! OK, the thread is about your dreads, but I still have to say it!

 

Hey looking great! Do u no about what size they were if u no what i mean, like 1inch?

 

Umm...for the most part they're like 3/4" but some are flat and like 1.5" wide. Some by my face are only like 1/8" maybe. They're all over the place.

That what ya meant?
(Is "meant" even an applicable word here?)

UMM.. haha i normaly only no cm's but i heard 1 or 2 inch is normally the area of the squares of hair they section when they start the dreads.. Like if u used the backcombing method..

Thanka ma'am! The blue and purple wrap is actually a peyote stitch my friend made for me.

Side note--Are any of your beads sentimental? All of mine were either given to me by friends or hold sentimental meaning to me. Anyone else feel the same way about theirs?

I have no friends who care about locks at ALL.... So I have no beads given to my by friends. I have some soapstone beads I made a while back that are pretty cool, but I made them when my locks where like 4 months old, so I felt silly wearing them... It'd be cool if I had some with sentimantal value, but as it is I just let my hair alone, and don't really care... my taste has shifted towards fat all natural, undecorated congos, so I don't wear my own creations.
