Other than attempting hot blacktop in the summer, rainy streets are my "favest" (??) barefoot surface--totally different than when dry. All those sharp poky things are magically soft and, um, barefootable. Like going into a cool store after blazing summer streets--really a nice change!
I really love walking barefoot in the rain it reminds me of when I was a kid walking barefoot in the rain and then going through rain puddles and so mud puddles. And I do love the cool floor of a store after walking barefoot on the hot blacktop and getting the solos of my bare feet really black
It’s raining right now where I live and I had to go and run around and the rain feels so good on my bare feet people would look twice but they didn’t say anything a good day to be barefoot
It's raining here in England today and I'm just back from an evening walk barefoot. Felt fantastic to be outside walking the once rough pavement now all cool, wet and smooth barefoot.
I enjoy walking in damp or wet grass. The soft squishy feeling is so pleasant. I prefer warmer temperatures 50 plus. Although I am good with the 30’s just for shorter periods.
Yesterday, I was prepared to walk in the park in the rain but it stopped raining leaving lots and lots of water puddles in the grass. I felt like a child walking barefoot through the wet grass and water puddles. I walked almost two miles barefoot. As much as I love walking barefoot in the grass wet or dry I want to toughen my feet for rough terrain. So I walked 2 tenths of a mile on rough blacktop and some wet mulch. It was all good. I plan on walking on rough blacktop daily, once I can walk as comfortably across rough blacktop as smooth I think trail hiking will be enjoyable.
Great picture of your bare feet in the wet grass . Walking on rough blacktop will toughen up your bare feet and your barefoot hike will be awesome
Once the weather warms up, I've found that walking on hot (but not too hot) blacktop thickens up the pads of your feet pretty fast.
Barefoot in the rain is so nice. I enjoy the wet feel of my feet and the ground. I also enjoy a good hike in the rain barefoot and nude.
I enjoy nude hiking as well. Barefoot walking was recommended to me as a way to control depression and it works for me as well as nude hiking. However, when I show up to a trail for a hike I am not always assured I will be alone. That led to some hiking day disappointment, till I discovered barefoot walking and hiking. So if I can’t hike in the nude I can most certainly hike barefoot which gives me a similar good feeling.
