I finally cut my lawn for the first time this spring and it felt so good to walk on freshly cut grass with my barefeet.

Yes barefooting makes grass mowing more enjoyable. I haven't worn shoes to mow grass in about 30 years, and that includes a push mower, riding mower and an old tractor I used to have. I'm in Louisiana where grass needs mowing about 10 months a year.

I know this girl who cut her foot off cutting the grass barefoot, now she wears a fake foot, seen her at the beach and she took it off, I will never cut the grass with no shoes, but not like shoes will protect you I just have that fear now lol

Did it once as a teen but didn't feel safe. On the other hand, unless you are wearing steel toe shoes a spinning mower blade won't protect your feet from harm.
