My New Jersey car registration is up for renewal . Was thinking about getting personalized vanity plates for a fifty dollar fee. Have a few ideas but would greatly appreciate any input from my online barefoot family !!! The plates can range from 3 to 7 characters. Minimum of 3 letters and numbers optional. My top two choices are BRFOOTR and SHOELES. Very open to all ideas and suggestions . Does anyone in this forum already have vanity plates promoting our barefoot lifestyles ??? Thanks !!!

If you're open to languages other than English, you could adjust the Spanish word for barefoot ("descalza") to DSCALZA.
Since you're in New Jersey I'm sure you've seen those flip-flop decals people put on their car's rear windows - Barefoot Central sells decals of bare feet if you want to add some "sole" to your ride.

    BAREPAW
    SCALZO (ital.)
    NUPIEDS (french)
    BOSO (polish)
    BOS (croatian)

  11. Actually, the correct French is “pieds nus.” I switched the words intentionally.

  12. NO-SHOZ looks like No Shows, as in not showing up. Maybe NO-SHUZ?

Je crois que en Francais existent deux expressions: "pieds nus" (= bare feet) et "nu-pieds" (= barefoot). D'accord?

What a great idea! Being a lifelong petrolhead I have a small collection of "private" plates (as they're known here in the UK) mainly relating to my name/initials. I had never thought of barefooting as a subject. I feel some lockdown timewasting coming on searching for similar UK plates on line. Interestingly (to me anyway!) many very old vehicles that have lost their original plates have been re-registered with "BF" plates, which I've always thought as kinda cool. I do envy you having whatever you want for $50 though. Ours have to conform to certain vehicle age-related templates, calling for some ingenuity in getting anything meaningful, and cost hundreds or thousands of pounds. Any of the above suggestions would be great! Let us know what you decide on.

Never considered barefoot decals or license plates to be honest, I guard that Legacy like my third child. The license plate is standard and I've got no stickers at all.

Personally I'd go for one of the first three. Just more "out there" and more obvious than the no shoes/unshod theme. Been looking for inspiration here in UK, but the best I can find are along the lines of "GO..BFT" which isn't particularly obvious. I hope you have more joy getting it assigned to your car than here. Seems our DVLA are in disarray/not prioritising such things cos lockdown.
