New to the forum, but not barefooting. Still a bit shy in public, but manage to brave the supermarkets in the summer and love walking in the countryside sans shoes.

Welcome to the forum. As you can see by my avatar I don't hike barefoot but am bare most elsewhere when I can. It's just that too many people are offended by the human body. I'm barefoot most of the time though which means I am totally nude most days. Only when I have to encounter textiles do I don clothing.
I'm barefoot when ever I can be and like to be nude also. I enjoy a good nude barefoot hike in nature.
Wen for a barefoot walk earlier today and bumped into people I know! I got a "You've got nothing on your feet!!" and laughter. It was by the coast on a grassy path near some beach huts. I just said "I thought it would be warmer out today!" LOL
If I get called out for being barefoot in stores I claim to have stepped in dog shit earlier in the day then go into detail about how the poo got all stuck in the treads of my sneakers and say I threw them out instead of trying to clean them.
Hello! Walking barefoot in the countryside is just the best! And I see you're no stranger to the joys of baring your soles against wet floors. Rainy days are, in my opinion, the perfect time to let my bare feet have some fun! I offer you my commiserations about having to wear shoes in public - I'm quite shy as well, so I'm still working on getting my feet out of shoes on a more permanent basis . Who needs those horrible, smelly foot cages... yuck!
