Barefoot in hotels

Anybody ever gotten told to put on shoes at a hotel?

I spent a weekend at a casino/hotel and the first day was good,the next evening this concierge was bitching at kids and people from our party too.

She had to have been a cop once.

 

Seriously? I'm always barefoot when I'm in hotels and nobody ever says a word. Crazy.

 

First time for me,I was livid!

 

None of the other staff cared.

 

Have you ever snuck out of your room in the middle of the night and wandered the hallways nude? Always such a rush.

 

No. If someone did I'd probably would say I'm headed to the pool. I'm seen some come barefoot in the morning to the continental breakfast area.

 

No but its fun and I know that many other people that see me barefoot would like to do it too.

 

Though I don’t travel in hotels much anymore I usually would go barefoot in the breakfast area.

The one time that left me shaking my head a bit is when a staff member called me out for being barefoot in the buffet line on a cruise ship. The doubly insane part of that is the dining area was right next to a swimming pool

 

It happened to me when I went down to get the free breakfast.
