Never tried it but maybe now I will. It would get me back into attending church I reckon. Having spent Spring summer and fall barefoot I wonder how they would be about dirty toes and soles though. That would be the concern.
There is no problem with this. Moses, after all, was the first (in scripture at least) person to worship barefoot because he was on holy ground. With this in mind, I sincerely think that the choice to attend church barefoot or celebrate barefoot is a good thing. I celebrate barefoot due to some serious balance problems that being barefoot helps to correct somewhat. After I began doing this full time (since, I think, about 2004) I have never had any negative comments, just some curious questions and funny remarks.
I wear sandals, high heels (open toe heels; where your toes are sticking out), and flip-flops to my church and no one cares.
