Today I went fishing and it was 34 degrees and yes I was barefoot the cold ground felt so good. But I did have some people ask me if I need help . I said no I’m fine they ask me where are your shoes I told them I don’t wear shoes or socks I’m barefoot all year around. They were surprised and as I was bringing in a 17 inch trout I saw a police car pull in and the two officers made a straight line to me . They started asking me if I’m ok if I need help I said no and I also told them that I’m barefoot all year around. Then I notice that the fish and game officer pulled in and can and ask what is going on? And the police officer started to tell him what was going on and the fish and game officer told the police officers that I’m always barefoot and he has known me for two years and that I never wear shoes. Finally the officers said ok and they said wow you must have every tough feet I told them I remove snow barefoot all they did was shake their heads . Then I was them go to a car that was in the parking lot and talked to someone in the car I know they are the ones that called the police what a morning but I got my limit of fish then I went home.
Today is a great day to be barefoot I had to rake up some leaves that has fallen off my neighbors trees in to my yard . And yes I was barefoot I love the feel of the leaves crunching under my bare feet. I always look forward to raking up the leaves barefoot and there was a little bit of frost on the grass but it felt so good. Then I had to pull out some flowers in my flower bed and the dirt felt so good too on my bare feet. I even tilled the dirt be for it snow and I can’t wait to walk barefoot in the snow .
Yesterday i had to get a MRI at a Imaging place and yes I went barefoot I had no problem. They called me to the back so I could change in to a gown so I changed and as I was waiting for them to take me back to the MRI a guy came out and brought me a blanket and then he asked me if I needed socks I said no thanks and he said will it a little cool and the floor is cold I told him no I’m good and I don’t wear socks or shoes. He said ok and they finally got me back to were they had to inject some die in my shoulder so the MRI would show more of what is going on with my shoulder. So as they started to put the die in my shoulder some of the people in the room ask me if I needed socks I said no I’m good and I ask do I need to wear socks they said no . So I said ok cool they ask me if I do wear socks or shoes I said no I don’t wear shoes or socks and I have been going barefoot for more then 30 years they ask me even in the winter I said yes I’m barefoot all year around even in the snow I remove snow barefoot. They were like wow you must have tough feet and I said yes my feet are tough I even told them I have walked on broken glass they all said wow and then I went back to the waiting room to go to the MRI room another patient was sitting on the other side of the room and he asked me if the people were ask me if I needed socks. I said yes they did but I said no thanks even the guy said it better to be barefoot then wearing shoes I said yes you’re right and he said there are a lot of health benefits form going barefoot that people don’t know I said yes there is. Then they called him back then they call me back got the MRI done and they lady that did my MRI said wow you have nice looking toes for a guy I said thanks and she said she wish that she could be barefoot at work and she also said she is a part time barefooter but when she is not at work she is going barefoot everywhere . I said that great and it’s nice to see know there is another barefooter out there she ask me maybe we could hangout go barefoot somewhere and talk about places we have gone barefoot at .
Today I had to go to cvs and pick up a prescription and I walked in barefoot nobody said a word and it’s a little cold the temperature is 36 degrees and it feels great on my bare feet. As I walked out a guy ask me where are your shoes I told him I don’t wear shoes he shook his head and then I went to the dollar store and wow people gave me the dirtiest look except for one lady she said it’s about time I see another barefooter and I looked down and she was barefoot too . Wow what a good day too see someone else barefoot and we talked and then we went our different ways.
Hi everybody, Yesterday I had to get a CT scan and it was early morning appointment I had to be at the hospital at 7:00 am . And the morning temperature was 26 degrees and so went to my appointment and yes I went barefoot. I ever have a problem at this hospital going in there barefoot. But as I got there and walked in to where you check I for a CT scan the person asked me wear are my shoes I told her that I don’t wear shoes and it also I my medical file. She checked and she said yes you’re right you are a barefooter I said yes is there a problem with me being barefoot. She said for her no but the hospital might think there is. So she went to see if it’s ok for me to be barefoot and get the C T scan done . And her supervisor said yes it’s ok for him to be barefoot. So I had to do some prep and then had the CT and then I went home but as I was going to my truck this couple ask me if the ground was really cold and if I was ok . I said the ground is cool and yes I’m fine . And I drove home what a morning..
Today the weather is cloudy and a little bit warmer then last week. And it’s feels great on my bare feet and I don’t get a lot of odd looks when I went to Walmart and to Taco Bell this morning. The manager at Taco Bell ask me isn’t it a little cold to be barefoot I looked up and it was a old friend of mine. ( Matt) he said wow I thought it was you barefoot rick you are the only one that goes barefoot all year around I said yep . I haven’t seen him in two years but he notice my hat that has the Special forces crest on it and I don’t wear shoes. We talked and some of his employees like wow you never wear shoes and he said no he doesn’t we use to go camping and hunting and he would be barefoot the hole time they said wow you must have tough feet and he said I saw him step in broken glass and it never cut his feet. So I got done eating and said goodbye and let him and his employees get back to work he even told his employees that it’s ok to let my come in Taco Bell barefoot and he was going to tell the other assistant manager that it’s ok if I come In barefoot . I said thanks and went on my way it’s been a great day to be barefoot
This morning we got another snow storm . We got only 4 inches down where I live and the mountains over a foot . It felt so good to remove the snow barefoot I love the cold on my bare feet.I can’t wait for it to snow again I love walking around barefoot in new snow .
Happy new year everybody it’s been snowing hard where I live we got 9 inches from 6:00 am this morning to now and I have removed the snow twice and yes I do it in my bare feet I will have to remove the snow again soon
Today it’s snowing here and wow people are giving me all sorts of weird looks just because I’m barefoot. I wish people would just try going barefoot more and see how their feet would feel not being in shoes.
Does anyone else work out or left weights barefoot ? I love working out barefoot and I do get a lot of looks and questions about working out barefoot and I tell them that my balance is great and for me it’s just feel natural to weigh left barefoot
Today I had to go to Walmart to get some smart water . And today it’s cloudy and 32 degrees we have it our high for today. So yes I went in to Walmart barefoot like always and I had on my blue jeans and they are tapered to my ankles. And the parking lot was nice and cool and the floors in Walmart were cold just the way I like floors to be . So I went down where the bottle water is and as I was getting the water with alkaline in it a young girl was getting some water to and she looked at my bare feet and said that my bare feet look great and the jeans make my feet great . I said thanks she ask me if my feet are really cold I said no I’m barefoot all year around and my bare feet are use to the cold . She ask me what is the lowest temperature I ever gone barefoot in I said 9 degrees for an hour . She said wow I wish I could do that . She said bye I said have a nice day I went paid for my water and came home it was a great day and even a better day to be barefoot at Walmart.
