So sometimes whenever I wash my hair using BS/ACV, the baking soda doesn't come completely out of some of my locks. Usually the thicker ones. I could stand in the shower and rinse my hair for more than 20 minutes and there'll still be a little in my hair, is this normal or is it because I might be using too much baking soda?

I have that same problem sometimes too, I notice if I squeeze a dread while its still wet after a BS wash it makes a certain "soapy" sound for lack of a better word...if mine do that I rinse better. The best way Ive found to get all that extra baking soda out is find a tall cup of some sort, fill it most of the way up with hot water, dip as many dreads as you can fit into it, push the cup up against your head and give it a good shake around, then squeeze them out real good...youd be surprised how much more baking soda is still in there.
