You don't have to be social all the time. So I would go with social.

Between those 2 things being social keeps more doors open so to speak. And you decide how social you gonna be. Its not like you can never act like a loner anymore.
If you go fulltime loner it might be harder being social at times. And the closest thing to a trust worthy FWB will probably be your mexican handyman.
Granted: being social is no guarantee to get the friends you would really like but the chance seems much bigger to me.

Another issue where it comes to trust and FWB is you can't expect to get trust when you suck a strangers cock without knowing anything about him. I get the second part about girls but not the first part.
