Harvey Don (that's a family name too so you can't have that)

My Aunt's name is Martha; Aunt Martha is the perfect name for an aunt.

 

I have a great aunt named mary martha

 

My Great Aunts were named Bernice (born 1902) and Willie May (born 1900).

 

I still think Aunt Bertha (or Big Bertha) is the best name for an aunt

I love that name for some reason. Edith, Gretchen, Lillian, Pearl....I guess I just love old lady names. :tongue:

 

lily is the best old lady name....... but thats my grandmother's name (who passed) Im going to name my daughter that..... if and when I ever have one

Yes, Ethel! That seriously was one of the ones I like but couldn't remember at the time.

Sorry about the nun...my mom to this day has bad memories of some very strict nuns from grammar school way back in the 50's.

 

The name Gretchen reminds me of an old witch.

While our attitude towards witches have changed recently with shows like Sabrina and charmed, the name Gretchen still invokes and conjures up images right out of The Brothers Grimm

oh man, thats another nun I had in grade school. she was our principal, and 8th grade sex teacher ..... sister mary ethel. her boobs sagged down to her waist, and she used to fling her boogers...... I swear

 

if i have any girls i'm gonna name them Jayden, Carly, or Colie
I like boy names for girls too, like.. Andie or Ryan

 

I love the names Chloe, Isabella, Rhiannon...

My daughter's name is Mayzie Amorette, middle name French for "little love".

but seeing that If I ever did want to have kids I'd want a boy..so Earnest, Marshal, Mikey, Byron..any of those. :-D
