Awful ESPN NFL announcers

abc's got it so we gotta listen to john and al, right?

( i dont really bother to try to keep them straight, cuz i usually just listen to music with the tv on mute.)

Good strategy with the music thing.

 

i'm posting (really for the first time on this forum) because i can't believe somebody else employs the strategy of listening to great music rather than dumb and/or obnoxious sports announcers while watching the big games
one of my favourite sports journalists offered the opinion that we tv viewers should get our choice of multiple feeds of any given sporting event we're watching featuring different announcing teams. i've mentioned more than once to people i know that there just don't seem to be any great sports announcers around anymore...
