    Skip, I remember you said you blocked the Chinese government from this site before they could block you (kudos). Why not the same for Australia? My guess is, no one, including you, saw this coming...perhaps...

    Maybe you should just block all governments, haha.

    Australia has decided to stop the Internet filtering for a year cause they're going to call an election. Doesn't that indicate how politically motivated this censorship really is?

    The only thing still being censored are kiddie porn sites by the major ISPs in Australia.

    But if this goes back into effect it will block all sites that discuss illegal drugs including this one.

    Good to see the Aussies are finally waking up to this threat to personal freedom via gov't censorship. Australia is one step away from Chinese censorship. Next it might be those who criticize the Aussie gov't. After that it will be YOU who loses their Internet voice...

    Skip...since as you say there's a risk of this still going ahead, d'you mind if I link to a proxy service for any Aussies reading this?

    I know it's not blocking Hipforums at the moment, but sod's law I'll lose the link if/when it does get blocked. :D

    OMG!! That's terrible!! I only thought countries like China, Cuba, Turkmenistan, North Korea and the like would censor books and the internet. I NEVER would have thought that there are a bunch of nazis down there in Canberra.
