they can change, and lighting could help but i never had a prob w/ lighting. . . try it with openess with your eyes. . it might help
Here is an excersise to train your eyes to see auras. Take some brightly coulored paper or thin card eg: blue, green, yellow and pink. cut them to about 3x3 inch squares and lay one of the squares any colour onto a peice of white plain A4 paper. now look at the coloured paper and stare at it, sometimes if you squint it will help. stare at it for about 20 seconds then quickly remove the paper, but not adverting your gaze. you should now see a smaller square of "light" on the paper but in a contrasting colour. I can't remember the combinations but i think if you use pink paper to look at you will now be seeing green. Keep practicing untill you can the contrasting colour arround the square of paper, but without removing it...if that makes sence. you should take a break between every attempt you make. once you can see the "aura" of the paper...although the paper has no aura you can try looking at peoples auras it's best if thay are standing against a solid block of light coloured background white is the best to begin with. look at them the same way you looked at the paper and you should be able to see colours. most auras have layers of colours and you can probs find a website telling you what the colours mean. i hope this helped and have fun
My oldest child had been able to see them since toddler hood. I didn't even know what they were at the time. She would say "Mama, you have purple air around you." Or "Baby Moon (her baby sister) has pink air around her." For some reason I took a book out of a library about Auras, and Sunshine looked at the cover (she was about 4 at the time) which had a pic of an aura on it, and said "HEY, this is what I see around people!" Scared the hell outta me. But we learnef to live with it, and kinda let her know it was a "family talk" thing. (I didn't want her ostracized by assholes, it was hard enough that she has Tourette's Syndrome.) People can be very cruel to unusual children. When she got older, it was harder and harder for her to see them. She said it was better in a dim room, but still they are not as clear as when she was small. She is 19 now and rarely talks about them. We let her decide when to say anything. I've seen them while meditating. Not nearly as clearly, or in color, like my dd does. I just see some glowing light. I also see them, as little orbs around doorknobs. I guess since everybody touches doorknobs, they have auras around them. I see the door ones just out of the corner of my eye. When I was a child I used to tell my parents that there were "fireflys" in the house. LOL!
I have been able to see auras since early childhood, but I have to focus harder now. I used to lay on the couch with my hands out in front of my face and gaze at my own aura, and my parents thought there may be something wrong with me until they realized what I was looking at! Even now I find sometimes find myself gazing at my aura in the presence of others and they wonder what the heck I am looking at. When I was in elementary school I was in a group for students with "higher IQs" and we used to experiment with auras. One exercise we meditated and then focused our auras between our hands and then cupped our hands and passed our "energy" into the hands of the next person. Now, I can be quite a cynic, but when I was at the end of the line and got the aura passed to me I could honestly feel the aura being poured into my hands. No joke!!! It feld as if it had substance and weight kind of like a dense gas or something. We also did a lot of meditational exercises to learn how to stimulate different parts of our brians.
StonerBill, I wouldn't say it's worth discrediting her immediately. Remember, people can see auras either in purely visual terms, or in intuitive terms (without any ocular feedback), or a combination of both (where the intuitive knowledge actually translates into visual results). If a person is one of the last category, a black aura would be a completely reasonable result.
Black auras are not that uncommon. A patch of black in an aura can signal depression or even an illness near the black patch. A completely black aura has several different meanings, none of them very positive.
I still wonder if, scientifically, a black aura can exist. From my understanding auras are created when ones "life energy" refracts light causing it to appear as colored. "Black" is the absence of light, so to me a black aura cannot exist. Something would have to be blocking the light not simply refracting it and auras as I know them do not have the physical properties to do this. My only explanation is that someone is just observing someone elses shadow. I can understand areas around the body that lack auras and would take on the colored appearance of the background and may reflect areas of illness.
It has often been described as "clouding" or "darkening" of the aura. I don't know if science yet has the terms or facts to describe the actual material the aura is made of. Clouds can appear black, black auras are similar.
Not everyone can see auras, it is a perceptual enhancement, an art if you will. It is an interpretation of sense, of existence, just as other things telekinesis is the interpretation of a sense through other means. Balance a bottle of water on your fore head. Now imagine it falling to any direction and it will. After a while you can balance the bottle and imagine it falling without it actually falling. Simple example of using no limit as a limit as Bruce Leee once said. Study ancient Chinese philosophy, Qi Gong masters who smash foot thick bricks or pure marble with their foreheads. Mind over matter, because matter is the manipulation of the minds interpretation of the senses.
brendsan...if you want to see auras,..its not difficult. spend a few days with the one thought at the forefront of your mind in evry thing that you do.... 'every thing is a projection of light' jiust watch light, see nothing but the way light looks and changes at every moment...for a few days, eventually yuo'll find yourself ona dark night sitting next to a friend and their light will be poouring out around them. it is subtle but if you recognise that its just light itll be alot eaiser to see clearly. plants have it too. evrything living gives off light becuase that what we're made of, so yeah theyre real!
light is electromagnetic radiation. it is exactly teh same stuff that sends signals to your television, and microwaves your food. its the same stuff that takes your x-ray, and the same stuff that a radioisotope emits from your body when you take a PET scan. its the same stuff that its emmited from every object that has heat. however the human eye picks up wavelengths of the visible colour spectrum. if a visible colour is seen as an aura but not in a photograph, then it means that the light is totally a perception. blackness physically can never be observed as a glow, or radiation.
It is possible that some peoples eyes/brains can detect electromagnetic radiation outside of the normal "visible" range.
I was thinking about it.. (science) and wondered that the white colour shoulc be the sum of all colours (as they teach us in physics) .. so if there is white colours you see around people, does it mean that yer eyes are not focused on seeing colours and you need some more time to practice? well the topic sound quite interesting and I was kinda testing my eyes kinda funny, but makes me awake (specially as they are really tired after late working hours) .. so .. "seeing aura with yer relaxed eyes" is kinda training them stronger and making the muscles flexible again?
My dad can see them sometimes, he says they look like rising heat. (not that he's an expert just that's that his level) Any1 know where 2 get ur aura pic taken? I've always wanted that done.
muscles dont effect the colours you see, only the direction and focus of the eye. and no, that doesnt mean you can 'focus in' on other types of radiation. and as for people who see auras seeing colours outisde the visible spectrum.. well then why would the brain convert them into an overlay of known colours, over the edge of people? theres lots of theories for auras. however theyre still an unexplained phenomenom. everything will be answered in due time..
