Yeah. It makes sense that the long count ends on a day of astronomical significance (the solstice (21st)).

Well I was just repeating what the apostles said of themselves in 1 Corinthians 4:9,10. For I think that God hath set forth us the apostles last, as it were appointed to death: for we are made a spectacle unto the world, and to angels, and to men. We are fools for Christ's sake. Christ is not my brother, He is my Saviour. John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Jesus Christ made the world. John 1:10,11 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own,and and his own received him not.

Oh my name it is nothin'
    My age it means less
    The country I come from
    Is called the Midwest
I's taught and brought up there
    The laws to abide
And that land that I live in
    Has God on its side.

Oh the history books tell it
    They tell it so well
    The cavalries charged
    The Indians fell
    The cavalries charged
    The Indians died
    Oh the country was young
    With God on its side.

    Oh the Spanish-American
    War had its day
    And the Civil War too
    Was soon laid away
And the names of the heroes
    I's made to memorize
    With guns in their hands
    And God on their side.

Oh the First World War, boys
    It closed out its fate
    The reason for fighting
    I never got straight
But I learned to accept it
    Accept it with pride
For you don't count the dead
    When God's on your side.

    When the Second World War
    Came to an end
    We forgave the Germans
    And we were friends
    Though they murdered six million
    In the ovens they fried
    The Germans now too
    Have God on their side.

    I've learned to hate Russians
    All through my whole life
    If another war starts
    It's them we must fight
To hate them and fear them
    To run and to hide
    And accept it all bravely
    With God on my side.

    But now we got weapons
    Of the chemical dust
If fire them we're forced to
    Then fire them we must
    One push of the button
And a shot the world wide
    And you never ask questions
    When God's on your side.

    In a many dark hour
    I've been thinkin' about this
    That Jesus Christ
    Was betrayed by a kiss
But I can't think for you
    You'll have to decide
    Whether Judas Iscariot
    Had God on his side.

    So now as I'm leavin'
    I'm weary as Hell
    The confusion I'm feelin'
    Ain't no tongue can tell
    The words fill my head
    And fall to the floor
    If God's on our side
    He'll stop the next war.
    Anyone out there listening?

ok. Doesn't Christ mention something about the apostles no longer calling him rabbi, but instead friend or brother? I forget the verse...

Ever consider that God causes war because it is good for you? Have you been forced to participate in a war? No.

"War: It does a body good."
I fail to see war being good for anyone. I feel there is no good war or bad peace. If I haven't been forced to fight, what does that matter? I know that many have been forced to, not all that long ago.
How can war be good for you? If there is any character building factor that it helps to develop, is it more important than all the bad things war brings with it?

In the old testament God used war to punish evil nations, and also used natural disasters to bring about His will. God is going to judge America in the future. America has murdered 40 million of it's own citizens, God is going to bring this to an end, at the same time He will save the people in America who love and obey Him.

I don't know. But if the U.S. was still an english colony, and the King was still in charge, I don't know what the world would be like today, so I'm not complaining about that. What would the world be like without war (look at nature). That's a completely insane idea. ;)

The only thing in life that pisses me off right now is the fact that I am not a multi billionaire with the ability to pursue my dream of doing absolutely nothing but sipping frozen drinks while doing lines off hot chicks while trippin, and bullshitting with my friends about all the shitty stuff that we went through in life while one of said hot chicks lights my cigarette.

I say to God "Judge not, lest you be judged- you made it this way, you fucked up and made the world a miserable place- unless you want to prove me wrong and show me that all the misery is going to benefit everyone, in which case, i might apologize for calling you an asshole."

What is the benefit if God only loves those who love and obey God? God created the rebel as well as the sycophant. God creates sinners and saints- they are both God's responsibility and I am sure God knows this, even if you don't. If God is to stupid to figure out how to win someone over without being an asshole and blaming God's own creation for its flaws, than do you really want to be around a God like that? I am sure an ass kisser would say yes. I am sure I would say no, and be labeled a rebel by all you ass kissers out there. Unfortunately, you ass kissers deserve your fate of torment because you lie instead of telling God the truth- that God is being an asshole and should treat you better.

Christ lied to you and decieved the whole world by getting you to believe in the devil (his own lie). If you can't tell when your rabbi is bullshiting you, you aren't ever gonna learn the truth.
I hope you are lying, because if you aren't, you still believe the devil's lies (by your own words).

Umm, you ever hear of S&M? Some people might like a little hell now and then.
I don't deny that I have a demented mind. Flip the coin and you will see the truth.
So have I (been to heaven). So what, we both aren't there now, because we are talking about it instead of enjoying it. Enjoying your sojourn in Hell?

The bible teaches that in the time of the end men will accept sound doctrine but will be turn to fables and doctrines of demons. Men such as yourself only reflect the accuracy of scripture. Find Christ before it is to late.

You are still not getting it......

Everything is absolutely relative, and relatively absolute...at the same time.

Everything the bible says in true.
Everything the bible says is false.

Both the above 'statements' are true and false....and so on.

You shouldn't sweat the small stuff....details...historical records, theologies, complex notions etc. All is reduceable to simple self-referential paradoxes of consciousness.

Try to figure those out, and then you may have something.

You say 'Everything is absolutely relative'?

You stating this is an absolute truth.

So everything is relative EXCEPT one absolute truth (that everything is absolutely relative)

    Interesting

That's pretty funny, cuz last night God told me I have a guardian demon. I guess most people get guardian angels, but I am not one to judge God's appointments of guardians. God knows what is best for everyone.
Really? I thought everything was supposed to reflect the accuracy of the scripture. What would I know though- I am just a man with an opinion about God's creation- and like you, I don't know enough about it to accurately judge everything about it.
Where'd I put that christ again. Damnit!! I'm always loosing that christ.

I tell you this. God will teach you what you need to know, have faith in God. Don't worry about your brother, because just as God cares for you and guides you to the truth, so God does for your brother (thats me jackass). Would you sit in a 3rd grade math class and try to teach them calculus? Would you lecture a moron on the intricacies of jus ad bellum?

I would. ;) (I said moron on on purpose- just so you know, I like repetitive noises and stuff).

LAST NIGHT GOD TOLD ME I HAVE A GUARDIAN DEMON?

Really, well be for you take it hook line and sinker I would mention that the bible states we should test the spirits before we believe them.
I John 4:1,2 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is the spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

Romans 14:1 and 14:4 "Accept christians who are weak in faith, and don't argue with the about what they think is right or wrong"....."Who are you to condemn God's servants? They are responsible to the Lord, so let him tell them whether they are right or wrong. The Lord's power will help them do as they should."

Yeah, not everything God says is the truth. God jokes as well. Do you think that God would actually give me a guardian that would hurt me and lead me to hell? I don't. It's a matter of faith in God, God can joke with me about sending me a demon because of my faith. I still have to recognize the spirit (test it) and ask, "is God really trying to destroy me by sending a Demon to me?" Then I go, "Duhh, God's fucking with me again, and if my Guardian is a demon, it is Good because God is probably playing a joke on me... or someone else..." ;)

    Bless you campbell..
