now wait a minute, I think you're putting words into sunfighter's mouth. I don't think that he made any comparisons here to other attacks. I think that what sf meant by the term "political" was that much of the thread has been about things other than the event itself.

 

When innocent people are hurt, orphaned, killed, etc... I don't care what their nationality is; it's a tragedy.

Because really the "timing" of your comment is bad. This just happen a few hours ago and you got to let the shock of everything subside a little. Give it a few days and then make your point forcefully.

You watch the media, listen to what happened, and then take away all the bullshit and lies and do some self, logical, thinking... Then you form a decent opinion. You don't just watch the news and agree with what they say, thats what they want you to do. Thats how they stay in control.

I think it'll turn out to be a lone dickweed,maybe with another in collusion. Like the recent shootings in the news. It will be someone that stayed in a hotel close by so that the explosives could be planted after the area was locked down. Just my guess.

Strange, but not surprising (or even new).

Kind of like they were already on scene in Oklahoma City back in '95.

The ATF likely carried out these attacks, too. In fact, I am nearly certain of it.

And, as usual, it coincided with a drill.

It's so in our faces but so few people want to see the truth.

No, McVeigh was a government patsy that was set up.

 

I think for big events like this all the major "agencies" are brought in to provide security, weapons screening, etc. They probably even "secured" the area days before the event. Which makes me wonder how something like this gets thru.

 

But they were already dressed in bomb gear when the first responders showed up, stating they were tipped off in advance.

Blatantly insulting people has nothing to do with liberalism, it's just rudeness.

I think part of it is definitely society's growing apathy, but another part is that it's difficult for the human brain to fully comprehend the weight of such a staggering number of deaths; really any number larger than the human brain can handle.

That is unsettling.


Whatever happened, it's a loss of life, a tragedy. I just don't think a thread about something like this is an appropriate place for hurling insults. In general a forum is a place of debate, not bickering.
