What's the best way for athletes to use marijuana? Does smoking it the traditional way affect their lungs and cardio? Should they use a vaporizer instead or use edibles?
Depends on how serious you are with dieting. Edibles wouldn't be bad like gummies/jolly ranchers if your not really focused on a very serious training regimen. Vapes effect lung capacity as well so Idk if you care not to smoke or not. But if you are in a more non pro/semi pro/division 1 or 2 college athletic environment, smoking every now and then won't limit your capability it's more if you do it everyday multiple times that your lung capacity can diminish.
I'm a runner that does 8 to 10 miles averaging 8 minutes a mile. I smok almost everyday and it doesn't effect me and my breathing. I don't smoke prior to running though.
