This article in "USA Today" is interesting. Seems Poland has taken a turn to the right. I'm sure Poles would never allow Marxists to reduce their freedoms, not after their experience with being ruled by the old USSR. However, they are like many Americans in that they appear oblivious to losing their freedoms when those freedoms are taken away by the same-old-same-old: Catholic church leaders and their political allies.
