I'm an atheist, I don't believe in God, Jesus or the Bible. I hate being rude and if this offends you then I am extremely sorry. But you have to accept that this is just my opinion.

I feel like atheists are more realistic, there's evidence that God doesn't exist. There's evidence that Evolution exists, and the Big Bang. Christians, well they only have faith. And when you ask a Christian for evidence, they hand you the Bible. And to be honest, the Bible can't prove that God exists. A random man could have written that book. Religion just seems fake, unrealistic.

God can't be discovered with instruments or grasped by the mind because there's nothing to measure. What is nothing? According to most scientists that's where the universe came from and what it's expanding into. I started exploring this and found what I was looking for. In my experience Christianity never made sense to my mind, but when I asked for the Holy Spirit it was given to me and when I turn for help Jesus is the one.

To say that all religions are fake and unrealistic is an unenlightened approach to religion in general. You are correct to say that believing in a deity is unrealistic, however, so is the belief in inerrant scientific facts. The ideal that human kind is the ultimate being in our universe is nothing more than the stoking of mankind's ego. The idea that we can define anything within or without our universe is as well. Yet without human understanding we cannot know anything ourselves. Therefore we must stoke the world fire of ego to be human. In essence a more harmonious way of looking at the universe and our place within it is to see that all understanding is shared. Therefore we learn, as a species, through all of our experience wether that experience be of philosophy, religion, or science.

If you don't grasp what faith is you probably will always find it fake and unrealistic. If there was proof there wouldn't be (a need for) faith in the first place.
Also, you are aware there are millions of christians who don't have a problem with evolution either right? It's not like if you are christian you denounce all logic and scientific proof or something ;) It is really not a versus situation unless people themselves make it so.
