What does it take for you to consider someone a hipforums regular? Is it a certain number of posts, a certain amount of time, or something else?
Generally I consider someone a regular when I start to notice their posts and see they've stuck around for a couple of months. I don't really pay attention to people here unless I see them posting a lot around the forums on different topics.
The ones who come on here and say they love this site and are gonna become regulars never actually do. Its always the ones who dont make any introduction. I consider you a regular eggsprog, In the stoners lounge at least.
Check the join date on their posts. If they're still here after a while---regular. When you check Todays birthdays (at the very bottom)--most of them have been long gone. Some after 1 or no posts.
When I notice their name more than the odd spot on the boards. So usually when they have posted enough that it registers with me that they are on the board. Not necessarily the quantity of posts though more that they are present.
I don't really give a shit whether someone is a regular or not as long as they have something worthwhile to contribute. A mysterious stranger passing is just fine by me.
