Assignment for 9/24-9/30

I tried to take a non-traditional style picture but was pressed for time (I took this today, last day of the assignment):

blackheart: Go out and take that pic again. This time, wait a little longer. When the sun is down further in the sky (behind the trees). If you can, stop down your aperture setting one or 2 stops (try taking one with both). If not, tilt your camera down away from the sun some so that your automatic light gauge will read the light in the darker parts of your picture.

 

i culdnt wait longer my curfew is b4 dark so i took it right b4 i left. ill try that tilting thing wen i go back up there.

That pic to me captures completely the essence of the fall. Amazing!

 

Thank you very much. Did you notice the ducks standing in the water? The trees haven't started turning much yet here. We still haven't had our first frost but we get some outstanding colors in the fall (I'm in West Virginia). You sometimes have to be quick to catch them though before they fall.

 

Maybe if you explain what you're doing and why, your parents will let you stay out a few minutes more. Or, maybe one of them can go with you

Autentique, I really like "flush", the way you have captured the light reflecting off the different angles in the water is great. You have some real natural talent

My pic was taken in one of my favourite places. Its a river that runs through the west end of Reykjavic and it has lots of waterfalls, pools and trees. Its a place you can find peace among the noises of nature. I walked up to one of the biggest waterfalls and found a really interesting little bit of water that sort of curled back on itself. It almost seemed as though it was trying to hang on and not be dragged down river with the rest of the water?

 

really cool!!! the water looks so crisp. I think the cropping works because honestly you can't even tell its a toilet without the sides there. great photo

its kind of like a black hole is engulfing all the water

 

I agree with pink. Awesome pic autentique. Hands down the best for this assignment IMHO.
