Lots of years ago. Since we gave up long playing records for cassettes and then CD's came along...sometime in the 70's we had an 8 track tape player in our car. I hope that the CD's last until I die because I can't afford to replace all of them with something new.

Did you ever have an 8 track tape player?

Yes. Very first single I ever bought was Dave Argent,'Hold your head up'-1907.
But the first LP I ever bought was 1969-George Formby sings Elvis. [uh-huh]

Am I the only one of us with a working 8-track,then?
I have several 8-track cassettes, too. All Deep Purple albums...

hate to say the wall but its the longest good album so maybe that one.
would need something hard so i will go with the shape of punk to come by refused
and the hot rock by sleater-kinney. really no matter what three i picked i would regret it the next day. there are too many that i enjoy.

I went to a golf range this morning and spent a really happy hour whacking golf balls for miles [usually in the wrong direction]-have you ever played a sport you unexpectedly enjoyed?
