Depends on what "too much" means. I guess if you took ice cream and ripped open the top of the salt container and poured it all on then YES that would be unedible because of the amount of salt.

i think that people should be expected to use common sense. but those signs give people jobs so im not totally against them being made as long as it dosnt interfere with the object that its on.

Hard to say, I was too young at the time to follow the process when it happened so I have nothing to base my opinion on except rumors... He sure was mentally unstable at the end of his life though, but that's another issue.
