Yes, done it myself. A tractor carrying sugar beet, lost its load, one beet bounced and hit my shield! Had to knock it out..my face was a mess by the time i got home.

Ever had your window shield broken?

 

Cracked ... but not broken. I was driving the lorry back from Bicester in a strong wind, and a big tree branch or something got blown into the windscreen. It made just a loud bang I thought I'd hit a deer or something.
